Deeper than the sea,
higher than the sky,
love for the nation,
was not for a while.
Thought of nothing,
but sacrificed for everything,
not for their fame,
but only for the country's name.
Burned like a wax,
shone like a star,
giving a gift of freedom,
planned a voyage to heaven.
Remembering their sacrifice,
eyes fills with tears,
feeling their presence,
the heart fills with sorrow.
Grateful is my heart,
and salutes the soul,
proud to be the citizen,
'cause of such a great reason.
