Solid Gold Poem by Stuart Logan

Solid Gold

Darkest hair and intense eyes,
Silky smooth and devil's guise.
She knows not what she means to me,
Like a horse feels to run so free.

Sweetest breath and golden heart,
Her straightest teeth without a part.
Shining bright and deadly wit,
My soul I know, still it sits.

Lost in love but holds no spite,
Within the echoed lovely night.
Her sacrosanct beauty has me sold,
This girl I love is solid gold.

'Love is when you can find the relation between the one you admire and everything else you admire.'

Will we ever know? (A book of quotes and poems for those who believe in love.)
