My needs are small,
my wants are few,
all I want is someone who.
Can make me laugh when I want to cry,
to care whether I live or die,
to tell my troubles to,
to say I love you,
I do.
To reach out and touch my hand,
to say I understand,
to lead me from darkness to light,
to show me wrong from right,
to keep me close to home,
to stop my urge to roam,
to take my hand as we walk in the rain,
someone who knows my heart and my pain,
these are the things I want to find true,
in my wonderful someone,
in my wonderful you.
