SOMETHING I LOOK AT-351
BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY
Know not
what to do with life remaining
which gives more agony and anxiety than peace and serenity
If I take love out of life,
it will be more like a desert devoid of grace and beauty.
If I put love in it, know not
where I will be, maybe in an unknown island where
I have never been
From a distance, the island looks beautiful.
But I ask myself
do I deserve to be there
in the garden of the queen
or more frustration is awaiting
Better to wait for the time
to find an answer to the vexed question if at all the time can fetch it
Better to remain in oneself, endure the present and wait for the tomorrow which may come after you leave
Blessed are few
whose life and love go side by side.
The rest remain in dilemma not knowing what to do.
Caught in between life and love, grace and beauty, emotion and reason one silently moves away from both
only to find himself
in the deep abyss
