SOMETHING I LOOK AT-354
BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY
It seems
you have forgotten me long since
No regrets
I have to accept the reality as it is
May be I have asked for it.
If you think I am wrong
I will never ask you to forgive me
But don't forget my love,
it is genuine
without having an ounce of hypocrisy
As a human being
I am as limited, as incomplete
as anyone else
But my love is not
It is as vast as the blue sky,
as clear as white crystal
and as pure as morning sunshine
You may move away
I can not ask you to come near
The choice is yours
But don't move away
from my love
It is for you and you only
Love reaches
where nothing can
Love has eyes and ears
which can peep deep into the heart, penetrate into the soul
where one shines as a feeling,
consciousness not bound by
space and time
Love is not science,
not mathematics either
It is an art, the best of the arts in fact, which no mathematics can compute, no science can fathom.
To gauge its intensity one has to be a lover whose heart only beats for his love, for his love only
Hope, you can trace the man in me,
lost somewhere in between
past and present,
emotion and reason,
mind and conscience
