SOMETHING I LOOK AT-372

(Attempted acrostic on my beloved teacher late Biranchi Narayan Acharya, teacher, Alanahat High School

Biranchi Narayan Acharya
Born in Gajarajpur
Date of birth -25.8.1936
Father's name -Rama chandra Acharya
Mother's name -Padamabati Acharya
Wife's name -Rangalata Acharya
School and colleges-
Alanahat High School
Stewart science college
Ravenshaw college.
In 1962, he started working as Asst. Teacher at Alanahat High Schools.
Before joining Alanahat High School, he served as settlement officer(S. O) in the board of revenue, govt of Odisha.
He did his master degree in English.
M.A(eng) B. ED.
In 1992, he worked as head master at Rath Bidyapitha
After retirement in 1994,
he joined as principal at Maa Kutamachndi college, Debidol for 15 long years.
He passed away on 8 th November,2015.)

Born at Gajarajpur in 1936 on a bright August day,

In Alanahat he proudly started his way.

Rama Chandra and Padmabati were his guiding light,

A scholar they raised with wisdom so bright.

Nurtured at Stewart and Ravenshaw's halls so grand,

Challenging minds with knowledge at hand.

Head Master, Principal, a mentor supreme,

Inspiring countless to follow their dream.

Never was English or Math beyond his grace,

As Science and numbers found their place.

Remember the 'Enchanted Shirt, ' so profound,

And 'Lord Ullin's Daughter, ' where his passion was found.

Years of devotion, a teacher so true,

Always committed to seeing others through.

Never forgotten, his legacy shines,

At Ratha Bidyapitha and Kutamchandi's confines.

Conveying lessons with flowery flair,

His love for teaching, beyond compare.

As he breathed his last in November 2015,

Remembered he stays in memories serene.

Youth and elders alike hold him dear,

Acharya lives on in hearts so near.
