Song: The Ocean Of Lights Poem by Ceyhun Mahi

Song: The Ocean Of Lights

Through all the pleasures and delights,
I saw one moon who took all sights,
Who always shines in days and nights,
In New-York: the Ocean of Lights.

A small shadow lies on concrete,
In the neon-light covered street,
Where the bright and the dark to meet,
In New-York: the Ocean of Lights.

Her hair carries colorful hues,
From pinks to green, from red to blues,
And soars in the breezes so loose,
In New-York: the Ocean of Lights.

Powders make up a painted face,
So she can continue her plays,
In this masquerade of a place,
In New-York: the Ocean of Lights.

She is wrapped up in pastel clothes,
With art on them of her heroes,
And of dreamy anime shows,
In New-York: the Ocean of Lights.
