Song To The Sun Poem by Lana Wesley

Song To The Sun

Just listen to what I say
I quietly whisper your name
There in that quiet world
You're mine and it worth
All the troubles I can get
If I have to I'll be dead
You call me and I am here
With no touch feel me near
With no kiss make me moan
With the sunrise, I am gone
But only to be back at night
When I'm yours with no fight
Night is my time to be free
With all I cry to feel
It's my time to see the world
Like it's mine to hold
But only with your hand
I can do it, don't pretend,
Don't make excuses or look back
My guide, to you I stack!
To you, to you it all will go
If want, hold it, don't let go
I've opened what was buried, dead
I've opened to live instead
I saw the life I didn't know
You took my hand to let me grow
To let me feel the love of you
It's brighter than all stars I knew,
Bigger than the biggest planet
It's makes me speak and I say it
I love you, Sun, and I am yours
Know that I will be close
To you no matter what and where
Just look at night and see me there
Just look and let me send the heat
One million times I will repeat:
'Hey, don't cry, I'm coming soon.
I will be there, I am your Moon'
