Sonnet Ii Poem by Maya Reid

Sonnet Ii

My castle you are allowed to enter
I want to enter your fortress as well
My dreams have died like flowers in winter
Will they grow again? Only time will tell

Joined together, we could be paradise
This life I need your help to rise above
Alone it’s like my heart is in a vice
We’re tow wandering souls searching for love

What about me – I could be good to you
I know you would always be good to me
I don’t want you to be the morning dew
Cradle me close as we drift out to sea

T'were you to ever learn a single thing
Be it the joy to you my love would bring.
