Sonnet Xiii - Don't Look In My Eyes Poem by Zachary Buck Hultman

Sonnet Xiii - Don't Look In My Eyes

Why my eyes see up close but no distance
Love lust feels you without the condom on
Passion together forever, one chance
Tech backfires, surround, what's my focus on
Why my right pupil dribbles out stitching
My Granddads death bed, laying in tether
Not allowed to stare, look at anything
Through pain was never put me back together
Why I look down when are moment happens
Father in-law calls, baby on the way
Held her right hand, my baby's life begins
Post-trauma, shunned away after that day
No longer am able to act normal
My wife raped me to have my baby gal
