Sonnet Xxiv Poem by Maangi Mongare Kevin

Sonnet Xxiv

Rating: 5.0

Thoughts mornings bring, of love sweet
I'm done such visage, clear in mind
No longer in doubt, of time birds tweet
For you be who eyes behold and find
Their affections won, in dark, light
And taken better part of my whole being
Gone be such loss, darker than night
But back be like sweet tunes birds sing
Longer led to tears, in hearts sorrow
But trust kept, be it love kept strong
Was it that meant missing, but tomorrow
Be not such, as you, too to me belong

Yes, roses be white, red or pink
But you are rare, a colour I only think
