Sonnet Xxvi Poem by Maangi Mongare Kevin

Sonnet Xxvi

As the longest rays kiss the bare rocks
So is our love stretching from far
Bred by soughing wind that love backs
Its contents growing above the bar
Treated well by love's own medic
His drugs she takes smiling great
And like nursing love she does pick
Affections that the doctor takes late
And by verse, I, my prescriptions note
A dose for you, of affections new
And as from lines, love's drug I wrote
Keep love more strong, care for few

In between be air, love's ready for it
For I'm to you, let our love last a bit
