Sonnet Xxxvi Poem by Maangi Mongare Kevin

Sonnet Xxxvi

Rating: 5.0

Love summer sunshine for it, in the west fades not
But its happiness retains in its midnight heat
Forcing lovers burnt, leave cosy cages hot, hot
But despise not wind, for it cools sores of the beat
Love winter winds for they aren't keen as cold
But gently kiss your dresses, leave some joy
Making many men miss meals and breath hold
But forget not cold heat, ever gives such boy
For in sweeter love, such seasons are bred
And frost men have when winters wind come
And sure is ladies' cold, in summer's red
But roses you get, to us your warmth does come

And have I such reason to have you, one
Tread on my lane, carry you, have my life done
