Sorrow Throiugh His Soul Poem by kendyll brown

Sorrow Throiugh His Soul

one day
i saw a man
along the road

twas a rainy night
pouring down in sheets

as i drove to a stop
he sat upon his horse
staring at empty space
an land

he was so sad
with a sorrow to be see straight to his soul

i asked him why?
why do you cry?
why do you sit out here
when the rain is coming?

He said' miss, i have nothing to lose'
'the rain is feeling my pain'
'iv lost my love, my dog ran away, an im a wanted man'

i said i was sorry
an wished him good luck on his way

never have i seen such sorrow
through anyone
his face showed so much pain

as i drove
he rode off on his horse
as we parted our seperate ways
i turned my head
to see him on his way
though he hadnt made it far before
the police they
saught after him
got him
an shot him
he fell from his horse
with a sudden thud

to mself
a single tear fell from my eyes
rolling down my face
