Soul Of Saul Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

The soul of King Saul seeks the advice of the witches,
As does Dr. Faustus,
Saul is an abuser, a pitiless beast,
Uncontrollable temper like Hitler he has!

Once the evil spirits promise to bestow Saul with power,
And wealth like the witches in Shakespeare's Macbeth,
Saul is more jealous than Othello and Iago,
A devil in the form of a human being he is!

Saul's soul has become awfully polluted,
Like the water of the Buriganga!
