Space Poem by Chantal Gumbs

Space

Rating: 5.0

You seem to have no sort of end
No one can stop you, not even to bend
Your length can go on for decades
And your glow never seem to fade

Looking into space with my telescope
Is something no law can stop, nope, nope, nope
I'm gazing into this darkery sky
And thinking that the moon's where I'd lie

Drooling over myself, thinking about the milky way
Adds to a list of reasons of why I'd like to stay
How could those heavy objects stay in the air?
Must be alot of weight for you to bare

But then again that's how God created it
After all He did say it was perfect when He finished it
But dreams are just for entertainment
Not a place for life to be spent

Things aren't always how you want them to be
Here' a name for that... it's called REALITY! ! ! !
