Spare The Girl Child Poem by Chukwunnabuikem Ugochukwu Amalu

Spare The Girl Child

SPARE THE GIRL CHILD.

Humanity is dying, the world is mute.
When wolves appears in sheep clothing, we lack the ability to differentiate.
Elephants fighting, grass suffering.
Beasts from the wild have taken human faces.
The victim is weeping but to deaf ears.

Today is the upshot of a pregnant yesterday.
Tomorrow is pregnant, we don't know what it bores.
The woman in labor pain as the baby is stuck on the canal.

Spare the girl child don't end her young.
She is a precious gift don't cut her short.
She has a voice don't force her mute.
She has her feeling don't mess her up.
For the sake of her parents don't end her now.

A mother bird in tears, her chick is gone.
Imagine how heavy the father's heart is, he bored the burden like a child in his heart.

Spare the girl child don't end her young.
She is unique in her nature don't take her common.
She bears the future don't end life here.
In her womb lies generations don't end the time here.
She is the mother of humanity don't render her motherless.
For the sake of tomorrow don't end her now.

Spare the girl child don't end her young.
You promised to love her why then do you hurt her?
She is full of emotions don't hurt her feeling.
She is ready to love just give her your your heart.
All she desire is your love just give her your heart.
She is not the cause of poverty don't exchange her for wealth.

Rise up now and speak against evil otherwise you watch as your own child falls victim.
Spare the girl child don't end her up.
