Spew Poem by Izik Alcox

Spew

Enlightenment at a price
Cancer, a.i.d.s., a.d.d., and lice
One big stew with too much spice
Lead through a maze like the mice
Randomly raining corrosion
A fiery atomic explosion
Our leaders lack devotion
Respect? Not a thought of the notion
Our roots are clear
Yet some fear
Others cheer
While some steer clear
There are those who hate
some that rape
One's that take
Others aren't awake
So intertwine this out of line
Upwardly sinking while thinking
Things to come you may learn from some
Just pass the rum so I may go numb
I feel dumb my brain the slum
Randomosity confronting halitosis
In limbo while phased out
Shut out locked up go away
