Spiraled Poem by Yohan Confectioner

Spiraled

I'd spiraled down a black hole once,
Lost consciousness of happiness,
Felt the weary weight of the darkness
Hang heavy on my shoulders.

The glorious sunshine that beamed on my back,
The peaceful contentment of everyday languidity,
The comfort of family joys,
And the mirth of company.

All lost in the quicksand of sadness,
Where the heart feels like it could literally break,
And the head could sink deep underground,
Without a chance of seeing light ever again.

Entangled in a loop
Of guilt
Of shame
Of never being able to recover again.
