Spirit of Africa, ancient and wild
A land of beauty, a land beguiled
From the savannah to the mighty Nile
Your essence flows, mile after mile
With a beating heart, you dance and sway
To the rhythm of the drums, you never stray
In the red and gold of the setting sun
You shine bright, for all to see and stun
Your spirit is fierce, untamed and free
With a strength that's rooted, in history
From the Masai warriors to the Zulu tribe
Your warriors stand tall, with pride and pride
Through the vast plains and endless skies
Your spirit roams, with a wildness that never dies
In the roar of a lion, in the cry of a bird
Your voice echoes, with a message heard
For you are the soul, of this vast land
With a spirit that's unbreakable, like shifting sand
From the mountains to the oceans blue
Your spirit lives on, in everything you do
In the scent of the rain, in the heat of the sun
Your spirit is alive, in everyone
From the young to the old, it flows within
A force of nature, that cannot be contained
With the power to heal, to soothe and to mend
Your spirit embraces, all who descend
From the tall baobab trees, to the smallest bee
You are the essence, of Africa, wild and free
In the vibrant colors, of the African sky
Your spirit glows, and never dies
With the red of the soil, and the green of the trees
You are the canvas, that evokes memories
From the golden grasses, to the endless sea
Your spirit is endless, just like the breeze
It whispers tales, of a land so pure
A land that is timeless, a land to adore
With each passing day, your spirit grows
Through laughter and tears, it always shows
For you are the heart, of this great land
Forever beating, with a rhythm so grand
So let us raise our voice, and sing your praise
For you are the Spirit of Africa, in so many ways
From the Kalahari to the Serengeti
Your spirit will live on, for eternity
For you are the rhythm, the heart and the soul
Of a land that is rich, in stories untold
So let us dance, to the beat of your drum
For you are the Spirit of Africa, wild and strong.
