Spotless Poem by haidee blanche

Spotless

We constructed each other’s night
I did not know his program

He was my home
And now I’m lost
I did not want to lurk
Asking the walls about his whereabouts

He was kept somewhere
That pumps my blood loud and fast

I’m so lost I can’t see
Where my hopes to see him are resting

He’s moved on too far
He can’t see
The past that inhales through me in the evenings

I couldn’t fight
And he couldn’t hold

So I just kissed the slopes while I fall
Head first
Trying to kill the memory
That eternally hurts
