Spring Poem by Jared Bradford

Spring

This winters too long
Spring cleaning looks good about now
Brush of gray dust of winter
Put away that snow plow

Bust out the flip flops
Bust out the squirt gun
Open your doors and windows
Feel the warmth of the coming sun

Smell the fresh grass
See those blue skies
Hear the birds chirping in the morning
Check the flutter of a butterfly

Trees growing new leafs
Rebirth, Renew, Enhance
More than fresh in the air
Love, it feels like romance

You can almost see the breeze
As you feel it refresh your mood
Feel like a fresh new start
And all the fresh grown food

This sun is coming soon
And it's a reunion that never gets old
We need that rebirth of warmth
Cause we're all sick of feeling cold
