Spring Dreams In Ireland Poem by Mad Gone

Spring Dreams In Ireland

With logic not quite yet installed,
Your tiny mind a tardis to explore.
Take faith, little one, stand aside until you’re called,
It takes but just a drop,
To start the growing ripple.
My Danny boy, you had a dream.
but stop, listen to the child’s silent scream,
For it can and will be heard.
Let the rocking chairs stop rocking,
Don’t let them beat those worn out drums,
For they now are quite absurd.
The bold young cub sets forth to test,
Let the ageing, unforgiving warriors rest.
