Spring Song Poem by Mary Champion

Spring Song

A sunlit dawn breaks cover,
warming the chill spring morning.
Sparkling dew slowly recedes.
Something stirs in the forest.

A burbling brook plays its tune,
backing for the dawn chorus.
Leaves rustle as a breeze sighs.
Nature's orchestra awakes.
