My foot on the stairway, and I look up,
Wondering what is about to come?
Is my life at an end? Or has it just begun?
Will there be sunshine? Will there be storm?
Is this my life new born?
Is this the end? Is it the start?
Will God take me to His heart?

As I leave this earthly plane will I an angel be?
Leading others to Gods right hand,
Has God got this in His mind for me?
Will he think that I have failed? ,
Or is it a smile I will see?
I will trust in God forever this is reality,
I look behind and see others there,
Stepping forward and taking gods Hand.
