Stalked By A Ghost And His Dog Poem by Suzanna Chevalier

Stalked By A Ghost And His Dog

Stalked by a ghost and his ghost dog,
ghost dog was trying to catch a frog.
Then they saw me sitting by the tree,
sitting by the tree as pretty as can be.
Ghost comes over and talks to me,
I notice ghost dog has a broken knee.
Ghost dog got hurt,
broke his knee in the dirt.
I just smiled and went on my way
I said “I will catch up with you
later when it is day”
For I know it was all in my imagination
which is of course vivid
with sensation.
