Star Within Me
I am a Jamaican child
I was raised by a caring family
They never allow me to feel sorry for myself,
My family taught me to be an over comer,
They told me that I can be anything,
If I put my mind to it and work hard,
I believe that I am full of potential
And I am discipline enough
To find the star within me.
