Stars For Eyes - Poem by Tor VanHelm

Looking into the deep blue eyes
Reflecting in green
True love shines
Affection from within

Asking, what did you do today
Getting a smile for an answer
A big hug leaves me there
With no answer, but satisfied

Looking into these stars for eyes
Close them now and let the stars rest
Goodnight my loved one, I say
She replies, goodnight, I love you dad

I love you from here to the moon

Nice sentiments from a father to a daughter. 'I love you from here to the moon' is a nice statement, but of course it's a famous one and seems a little cliche for using as a final line in a poem. (Report)Reply
