but, Babe that was before I got to you.
I never thought I'd do this,
I always thought my fear would freeze me out.
I never thought I'd be this,
but Baby, I am almost without doubt.
I never thought I'd say this,
I've met a guy who's much too good for me.
I never thought I'd want this,
but what the hell'd I want with being free?
I never thought I'd know this,
it seems so certain in the light of dawn.
