Still Poem by Hanan Muzafar

Still

While wandering through market,
Looking for a message,
on any used rugged cloth,
from vendor to vendor;
After a failed effort,
reached to bus stand.
There I saw a young man of my age,
brown hair and beard, sitting on foot path:
Looked at me, said,
What you looking for?
I said,
Looking but not seen?
I'm also looking.
Both of us lit ciggrates,
I sat beside him,
He looked at me, and smiled:
Without talking with each other,
We were watching people.
I left and reached my room,
thought for a while.
What I was looking for?
It was him!
This made me to remind of,
Ask, Seek, Knock.
