Still Bleeding Poem by Prince ....

Still Bleeding

Our passion vanished into the dawn,
serpents night swallows me in sorrow,
a soul crucified as loves pawn,
leaves resentment for tomorrow,

The morning sun rises to taunt,
and laugh at miseries fool,
and cast my darkness to haunt,
in this world oh so cruel,

The angels came to ease my pain,
but I faded in the dark,
in my heart loves been slain,
but it left an endless mark,

Yet my heart still craves the light,
and lights the flame anew,
but soon sinks back into my path of night,
as im already dead to you.
