Stolen Innocence Poem by Bolami lawal

Stolen Innocence

Rating: 5.0

From a far distance
I heard your whisper
A thousand times
It echoed still
Upon my gaze
Was the moonlight ray
As my curious heart
Embraced the night

Between us laid
The gloomy dark
Resounding silence
Stormed our hearts
Profound emotions
Streamed alive
As our craving arms
Released their urge

As pure as it was
Devine as it seemed
It was the night that
Awoke my guilt...
Now; years have come
And years have gone
But the heart still search
For her stolen pride!
