Stop, Go Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Stop, Go

Should I stop or give it a go
bulwarks crumble, they fall
yet attend to what’s being spoken
untenable is the clear stillness.
Something unfeigned is given bare
every essence in me trembles, scared
I’ve every reason to want you all the way;
but another piece always backs away.
