Strangers Poem by nafisa baheranwala

Strangers

Like ships passing each other in the dark
Or a friendly face smiling at you in the park
Are each of you - the poets
Who energize my mental health..
I may never see you
Nor you me
It may be we will never meet
And only online each other greet -
But the bonds of poetry that tie us
Though as fragile as can be
have a core of strength that's hard to place
When I read your verse - I feel it's face to face..
So continue to share the ideas you nurse
And I will try to know you through your enlightening verse..
