Stray Dog Poem by Alexander Foald

Stray Dog

Fall from such a great height
Where even light doesn’t exist
These little white dusts pouring on me
As if trying to empathize with my feelings

Do they have a mind to will?
Do they have a heart to feel?
Standing like this among the falling dusts
Each side provides comfort for both of us

This night is lonesome and endless
No one’s here but the sound of heartbeat in my chest
Lights shading towards the white field under the moon light
Empty road watches as I walk with my naked heart
The snowfall has yet to stop and the moon is still quietly singing
All looks just like a dream to me, who dwells within the ambient
