Strength Poem by Donna Leftwich

Strength

Can I miss what wasn't mine
After just one sip of wine

Life will twist and turn each day
Love may come and go away

Start each day with optimism
Heart and mind are only prisms

Reflect,refract, cast a glow
My soul carries my rainbow

I can create andmake light
Darkness will not win this fight

My open heart, soft and strong
Was there inside me all along
