Strength Poem by Andre Brown

Strength

Rating: 5.0

They say when the going gets tough the tough gets going,
And the strong stay to fight the battle,
So is it better to be a tough coward or a strong noble warrior
Who sits firmly on his saddle,
We fight for what we believe in because we can do anthing we set
Our minds to,
Only if you realise who you are and what drives you,
what makes you think, what gives you that impulse,
What makes you go against all odds, what creates that stimulus,
The will to press on, keeping your eyes on the prize,
Is stronger than any tough coward in disguise,
And when that day comes in the hour of dispare you will rise,
Above all and everything triumphantly claiming your prize,
For you can do all things through christ in which your strength lies.
