Stretch And A Yawn Poem by Riya Gangwar

Stretch And A Yawn

A stretch and a yawn, my bed is calling me.
Be there soon.
A stretch and a yawn, didn’t you say soon?
As soon as I’ve read this last line.
A stretch and a yawn, my bed is calling me.
One minute more.
A stretch and a yawn, didn’t you say a minute?
The minute the movie ends.
A stretch and a yawn, my bed is calling me.
Be there in a mo.
A stretch and a yawn, what is a mo?
A moment!
A stretch and a yawn, didn’t you say a moment?
Just one more thought of the day.
A stretch and a yawn, my bed is calling me.
Oh sandman why do you pester me so.
A stretch and a yawn, sleep is near hmmm my bedis calling me.
A stretch and a yawn, sleep has me.
A stretch and a yawn, the day is calling.
Be there soon.
A stretch and a yawn, didn’t you say soon?
Just want to finish this dream.
A stretch and a yawn, the day is calling.
One minute more.
A stretch and a yawn, didn’t you say a minute?
The minute my sleep ends!
A stretch and a yawn the alarm rings.
It rings too soon!
A stretch and a yawn, the day is calling.
Oh sandman you put too much dream dust in.
A stretch and a yawn I am up.
A stretch and a yawn how boring this meeting is.
Aren’t they all?
A stretch and a yawn, oh that feels good.
Ah fresh air into that foggy brain.
A stretch and a yawn my bed is calling me.
