Stuck Poem by Daniel Edward

Stuck

when the crocidiles
sing to you and i
ferocious cats
scream back
'surrender now! '
and they gather around
in a meeting-like way
attendants abroad
circiling us
like the waves about
an iceberg
moving in
as the lights dim
and the traffic is null
save those around us
waiting to strike
and this may be trite
to someone else
far away
and it may be
nothing at all
but dont blame me
if i call out for
help.
