Summer's Hazy Poem by Clare Grover

Summer's Hazy

Summer's hazy, almost over
Nights are drawing in again
Chilly mornings, cloudy skies and
Promises of showers of rain
Afternoons deceive us all with
Sunshine coming out to tease
Warmer breezes, softly blowing
All of nature's flowers and leaves
Watching mutely, taking in the
Beauty, and the smells around
Butterflies and bees a-flutter,
Flitting past without a sound
With warmer heart and saner mind, I
Relish in this peace of mine
A happy smile inside of me-
It radiates a brilliant shine.
