Sun And Moon Poem by shakequill usher

Sun And Moon

They asked me “why you are so bright,
Glistening romantically amidst the gloom? ”
For I was indeed bright
And I was the moon.
I retorted ”why do you so curiously wonder?
Haven’t you seen the sun in the afternoon?
For she is my light, and without her
I’d be blackened by the immortal doom”.
