The cloud has turned dark on man,
The earth is still as the wind has ceased.
Rain has failed to touch the earth,
The sun has set in a clear noonday.
Tears oozing down the eyes of the unseen,
Indeed nature is pained by what men have done.
Console the heart that lost mum and dad,
Console the heart that lost wife and children,
Console the heart that lost husband and siblings,
Console every heart, comfort, please condole!
It all happened before the maker of heaven and earth,
In the dwelling place of the placer of man on earth.
With force his temple was tempered on earth.
With blood flowing through the altar down to earth,
A walk on earth turned a return to mother earth.
A dance to the sanctuary turned a cry to the mortuary,
When the clap of praise turned a beckon for pity,
The song of thanks turned a cry for sympathy,
All to the ears of them who showed no empathy.
Our help is in your name O Lord
For we've got no other place to seek refuge,
When it was not found in the house of the Lord.
Still we trust for he is our Lord,
Even when we get struck hard with a rod.
To the wolf in sheep's clothing,
Doing all you can to destroy what he made,
Take glory for what you have done.
You shook his own place of rest,
Gesturing with your finger asking what he could do
Hope you stand to fight the unseen
When the wrath descend and is seen
Just wait until you see...
What God will do.
