Sunset In The Mountians Poem by Nia Schexnider

Sunset In The Mountians

There is a twinkle in the distance, a light,
that wraps around you and holds you tight,

The sun casts his shadows, shading
You from the light that's fading.

It never goes cold as the day gets old,
It never leaves your sight,
It remains steady in it's flight.

Between two mountains he begins to fade,
and everything turns to shade.

The warmth leaves,
It doesn't deceive

You knew that he had to go.
Now what do you have to show?

It better be something that you can sustain,
Don't let your time have been in vain,
Oh but nothing will be the same...

Strength please find me.
