I wake with searching eyes and heart light with new contentment
It seems mid night but I am looking upon my sunshine
Golden windows that entrance my soul
and sing the song of forgotten happiness in every fleck and shadow
What is this enchanting new world that surrounds me
Every sight sound and taste altered to a greatness
that basks my world in glory
Fearless and hopefull bathing in those gentil moving streams
As golden light trickles upon every shadow once starving
now seeming whole
In this wild world of strange delights
that embraces each memory and future hope
Your arms the wings that hold me each morning
and my searching eyes cease upon the golden windows of yours
That make all the world light and divine
