Surreal - Poem by Rayniece D. Clayborne
Freedom of speech comes to mind.
I remember sometime ago.
Somethings were a definite no-no!
We all have gotten laxed.
Let's view the facts.
Name calling was never brtal.
Profanity is the new norm.
We have allowed ourselves to become acceptable.
Grossiness is like an elixir.
Soon followed by the blows of death.
Did we stop caring.. this chills my blood.
I watched some boys fight.
I became quite frightened.
the punched him, and cursed each other.
What will you do.
This is the problem..if your answer was to absolutley nothing.
But not at the expense of not caring!
