Sweet Baby - Poem by The White Rabbit

Sweet baby
Let me sing you a song
It goes a little like this

Hold me close
So I can hold you tight
And if my diamond ring won’t shine
On your pretty little finger

Well you know
That I’ve been around

And hush a-by
My darling baby
Because everything will be alright

You’ll have my babies
And make a good wife
You’ll make a fine wife
And you’ll cradle your dreams
As you raise the kids

And well you know
I’ve been around before

So hush a-by baby
She doesn’t mean a thing
My sweet darling
And go to sleep
My precious baby
Those girls don’t mean a thing

And well you know
I’ve been around
So here it is
My darling love

I’ve just sung you
Your life’s long lived
lullaby
