Sweet Pleasure

Inside, my God You’ve planted Seed
Inside You’ve sown true love
Inside You’ve given all I need
To live and rise above

Love as I’ve never known before
Love as I’ve never seen
Causing to fly causing to soar
To where I’ve never been

Fire to warm, my spirit guide
To show me right from wrong
To cleanse my ailing soul inside
And help me sing life’s song

Light revealing The Truth You say
The facts You have to tell
Showing my feet The Narrow Way
From death and darkest hell

Once dead, my God I’m so alive
Grafted within Life’s Root
Watered with love by grace to thrive
And bear You precious fruit

Should now my soul not give You praise?
My heart to You not cry
Should I not serve You all my days
Until the day I die

For have I not Your Promise Lord?
Your Word upon my life
Within my hand Salvation’s Sword
To end my every strife

Your Way is mine Your peace is mine
I’m rich beyond measure?
And through my Saviour’s blood divine
Eternity’s my pleasure
