Syching To Sinking Poem by Nick F. Hawkins

Syching To Sinking

I was in Texas but
My consciousness
Was in misery,
She was in Missouri
Where my midwestern
Soul provoked southern grief
Because our love
Was lost in the mystery,
We made history buther story
Is now part of his story,
Our chapter is now the past,
Our pages have now passed,
Life passed so fastbefore I could
Start blinking,
Our vibes went from
Synching to sinking
