Take It To Ruto, Takataka! Poem by Teacher Kevin

Take It To Ruto, Takataka!

Two men in a Prado, tinted and proud,
Cut through the jam, defiant and loud.
Engines roar like thunder's decree,
Breaking the law for the world to see.

A journalist by the roadside glare,
Camera catching truth in the air.
He films the moment — calm yet bold,
Unaware of the power his lens would hold.

From behind the wheel, fury ignites,
The lawmaker shouts, forgetting his rights.
"Take it to Ruto! Takataka! " he cries,
As arrogance flashes in broad daylight skies.

Irony burns where justice should dwell,
A maker of laws breaking them well.
The driver beside him smirks with disdain,
While citizens groan in silent pain.

The camera rolls, the truth won't fade,
In the court of the people, justice is made.
For no tinted window, nor shouted name,
Can cover the rot or silence the shame.

So roll the clip — let the world know,
That power abused will always show.
For even in rage and reckless attack,
Truth rides with Madowo — white and black.
