Taken My Sight Poem by Kianush Maleki

Taken My Sight

Taken my sight, my soul
Made me forget my goal
Sitting, waiting for a moment to talk
Wishing, dreaming for little more luck
The you is all I wish I’d have
The you is the sun which keeps me warm
You are the moon which lights my nights up
You are the reason which writes my poems down
You’re the one who keeps my hope up, wishing
My head down, thinking
Your rose-like beauty made me a night walker
Your cherry-like smiles made me a poem writer
Your unforgettable “Hi”s are my sunrise
And your “Bye”s are bloody sunset of my days
Which keeps me waiting for couple of days
Wishing to see again your face rays
No matter how much my heart pays
You’ve got an unknown slave
Whose name is always fade
